Colossians
Domini, quod justum est et æquum, servis præstate: scientes quod et vos Dominum habetis in cælo.
Masters, do to your servants that which is just and equal: knowing that you also have a master in heaven.
De domino, quod iusto es et aequo, ad servos praesta: sci quod et vos Domino habe in caelo.
Orationi instate, vigilantes in ea in gratiarum actione:
Be instant in prayer: watching in it with thanksgiving.
Ad oratione insta, vigila in illa in gratias actione:
orantes simul et pro nobis, ut Deus aperiat nobis ostium sermonis ad loquendum mysterium Christi (propter quod etiam vinctus sum),
Praying withal for us also, that God may open unto us a door of speech to speak the mystery of Christ (for which also I am bound):
Ora simul et pro nos, ut Deo aperi ad nos ostio de sermone ad loque mysterio de Christo (propter quod etiam vince es),
ut manifestem illud ita ut oportet me loqui.
That I may make it manifest as I ought to speak.
Ut manifesta illo ita ut debe me loque.
In sapientia ambulate ad eos, qui foris sunt: tempus redimentes.
Walk with wisdom towards them that are without, redeeming the time.
In sapientia ambula ad illos, qui foris es: tempore redime.
Sermo vester semper in gratia sale sit conditus, ut sciatis quomodo oporteat vos unicuique respondere.
Let your speech be always in grace seasoned with salt: that you may know how you ought to answer every man.
Sermone vestro semper in gratia sale es conde, ut sci quomodo vos debe et ung(u)a responde.
Quæ circa me sunt, omnia vobis nota faciet Tychicus, carissimus frater, et fidelis minister, et conservus in Domino:
All the things that concern me, Tychicus, our dearest brother and faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord, will make known to you.
Que circa me es, omni ad vos noto i fac Tychico, carissimo fratre, et fideli ministro, et conservo in Domino:
quem misi ad vos ad hoc ipsum, ut cognoscat quæ circa vos sunt, et consoletur corda vestra,
What I have sent to you for this same purpose, that he may know the things that concern you and comfort your hearts:
Quem mitte ad vos ad hoc ipso, ut cognosce que circa vos es, et consola cordes vestro,
cum Onesimo carissimo, et fideli fratre, qui ex vobis est. Omnia, quæ hic aguntur, nota facient vobis.
With Onesimus, a most beloved and faithful brother, who is one of you. All things that are done here, they shall make known to you.
Cum Onesimo carissimo, et fideli fratre, qui ex vos es. Omni, que hoc age, noto fac ad vos.
Salutat vos Aristarchus concaptivus meus, et Marcus consobrinus Barnabæ, de quo accepistis mandata: si venerit ad vos, excipite illum:
Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, saluteth you: and Mark, the cousin german of Barnabas, touching whom you have received commandments. If he come unto you, receive him.
Saluta vos Aristarcho concaptivo meo, et Marco consobrino de Barnaba, de quo accipe mandatos: si veni ad vos, excipe illo:
et Jesus, qui dicitur Justus: qui sunt ex circumcisione: hi soli sunt adjutores mei in regno Dei, qui mihi fuerunt solatio.
And Jesus that is called Justus: who are of the circumcision. These only are my helpers, in the kingdom of God: who have been a comfort to me.
Et Iesu, qui dic Iusto: qui es ex circumcisione: hoc solo es adiutores meo in regno de Deo, qui ad me es solatio.
Salutat vos Epaphras, qui ex vobis est, servus Christi Jesu, semper sollicitus pro vobis in orationibus, ut stetis perfecti, et pleni in omni voluntate Dei.
Epaphras saluteth you, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, who is always solicitous for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and full in all the will of God.
Saluta vos Epaphra, qui ex vos es, servo de Christo de Iesu, semper sollicito pro vos in orationes, ut sta perfecto, et plena in omni voluntate de Deo.
Testimonium enim illi perhibeo quod habet multum laborem pro vobis, et pro iis qui sunt Laodiciæ, et qui Hierapoli.
For I bear him testimony that he hath much labour for you and for them that are at Laodicea and them at Hierapolis.
Testimonio nam ad illo perhibe quod habe multo labore pro vos, et pro illo qui es de Laodicia, et qui de Hierapolyma.
Salutat vos Lucas, medicus carissimus, et Demas.
Luke, the most dear physician, saluteth you: and Demas.
Saluta vos Lucase, medico carissimo, et Demase.
Salutate fratres, qui sunt Laodiciæ, et Nympham, et quæ in domo ejus est, ecclesiam.
Salute the brethren who are at Laodicea: and Nymphas and the church that is in his house.
Saluta fratres, qui es de Laodicia, et Nymphase, et que in domo de illo es, ecclesia.
Et cum lecta fuerit apud vos epistola hæc, facite ut et in Laodicensium ecclesia legatur: et eam, quæ Laodicensium est, vos legatis.
And when this epistle shall have been read with you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans: and that you read that which is of the Laodiceans.
Et cum lege es apud vos epistola hoc, fac ut et in Laodicenses ecclesia lege: et illa, que de Laodicenses es, vos legatos.
Et dicite Archippo: Vide ministerium, quod accepisti in Domino, ut illud impleas.
And say to Archippus: Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
Et dic ad Archippo: vide ministerio, quod accipe in Domino, ut illo imple.
Salutatio, mea manu Pauli. Memores estote vinculorum meorum. Gratia vobiscum. Amen.
The salutation of Paul with my own hand. Be mindful of my bands. Grace be with you. Amen.
Salutatione, meo manu de Paulo. Memores es de vinculos meo. Gratia vos. Amen.
