Zechariah
Et ostendit mihi Dominus Jesum sacerdotem magnum, stantem coram angelo Domini: et Satan stabat a dextris ejus ut adversaretur ei.
And the Lord shewed me Jesus the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord: and Satan stood on his right hand to be his adversary.
Et Domino ad me ostende Iesu sacerdote magna, sta coram angelo de Domino: et Satan sta ab dextro de illo ut adversor ad illo.
Et dixit Dominus ad Satan: Increpet Dominus in te, Satan! et increpet Dominus in te, qui elegit Jerusalem! numquid non iste torris est erutus de igne?
And the Lord said to Satan: The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan: and the Lord that chose Jerusalem rebuke thee: Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
Et Domino dic ad Satan: Domino increpa in te, Satan! Et increpa Domino in te, qui elige Ierusalem! Numquid non isto torre es erue de igni?
Et Jesus erat indutus vestibus sordidis, et stabat ante faciem angeli.
And Jesus was clothed with filthy garments: and he stood before the face of the angel.
Et Iesu es indusa vestes sordido, et sta ante facie de angelo.
Qui respondit, et ait ad eos qui stabant coram se, dicens: Auferte vestimenta sordida ab eo. Et dixit ad eum: Ecce abstuli a te iniquitatem tuam, et indui te mutatoriis.
Who answered, and said to them that stood before him, saying: Take away the filthy garments from him. And he said to him: Behold I have taken away thy iniquity, and have clothed thee with change of garments.
Qui responde, et dic ad illos qui sta coram se, dicente: aufer vestimentos sordido ab eo. Et dic ad illo: ecce aufer ab te iniquitate tuo, et indue te mutatorios.
Et dixit: Ponite cidarim mundam super caput ejus. Et posuerunt cidarim mundam super caput ejus, et induerunt eum vestibus: et angelus Domini stabat.
And he said: Put a clean mitre upon his head: and they put a clean mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments, and the angel of the Lord stood.
Et dic: pone cidaremse munda super capite de illo. Et pone cidaremse munda super capite de illo, et indue illo vestes: et angelo de Domino sta.
Et contestabatur angelus Domini Jesum, dicens:
And the angel of the Lord protested to Jesus, saying:
Et angelo de Domino contesta Iesu, dicente:
Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum: Si in viis meis ambulaveris, et custodiam meam custodieris, tu quoque judicabis domum meam, et custodies atria mea, et dabo tibi ambulantes de his qui nunc hic assistunt.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and keep my charge, thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt keep my courts, and I will give thee some of them that are now present here to walk with thee.
Domino de exercitus dic hoc: si in vias meo ambula, et custodia meo custodi, te etiam iudica domo meo, et custodi atrios meo, et da ad te ambula de hoc qui nunc hoc assiste.
Audi, Jesu sacerdos magne, tu et amici tui, qui habitant coram te, quia viri portendentes sunt: ecce enim ego adducam servum meum Orientem.
Hear, O Jesus thou high priest, thou and thy friends that dwell before thee, for they are portending men: for behold, I WILL BRING MY SERVANT THE ORIENT.
Audi, Iesu sacerdote maga, te et amicos tuo, qui habita coram te, quia viros portende es: ecce nam me adduce servo meo Oriente.
Quia ecce lapis quem dedi coram Jesu: super lapidem unum septem oculi sunt: ecce ego cælabo sculpturam ejus, ait Dominus exercituum, et auferam iniquitatem terræ illius in die una.
For behold the stone that I have laid before Jesus: upon one stone there are seven eyes: behold I will grave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts: and I will take away the iniquity of that land in one day.
Quia ecce lapide quem da coram Iesu: super lapide uno septeme oculo es: ecce me caela sculptura de illo, Domino de exercitus dic, et aufer iniquitate de terra de illo in die uno.
In die illa, dicit Dominus exercituum, vocabit vir amicum suum subter vitem et subter ficum.
In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, every man shall call his friend under the vine and under the fig tree.
In die illa, Domino de exercitus dic, viro voca amico suo subter vite et subter ficu.
