Factum est autem in die qua complevit Moyses tabernaculum, et erexit illud, unxitque et sanctificavit cum omnibus vasis suis, altare similiter et omnia vasa ejus:

And it came to pass in the day that Moses had finished the tabernacle, and set it up, and had anointed and sanctified it with all its vessels, the altar likewise and all the vessels thereof,

Facto es autem in die quo Moyse comple tabernaculo, et erige illo, et ung(u)a et sanctifica cum omni vases suo, altari similiter et omni vases de illo:

obtulerunt principes Israël et capita familiarum, qui erant per singulas tribus, præfectique eorum, qui numerati fuerant,

The princes of Israel and the heads of the families, in every tribe, who were the rulers of them who had been numbered, offered

munera coram Domino sex plaustra tecta cum duodecim bobus. Unum plaustrum obtulere duo duces, et unum bovem singuli, obtuleruntque ea in conspectu tabernaculi.

Their gifts before the Lord, six wagons covered, and twelve oxen. Two princes offered one wagon, and each one an ox, and they offered them before the tabernacle.

Muneres coram Domino sexu plaustra tege cum duodecime bobos. Uno plaustro offuli duo duce, et uno bove singulo, et offer illa in conspectu de tabernaculo.

Ait autem Dominus ad Moysen:

And the Lord said to Moses:

Domino autem dic ad Moyse:

Suscipe ab eis ut serviant in ministerio tabernaculi, et trades ea Levitis juxta ordinem ministerii sui.

Receive them from them to serve in the ministry of the tabernacle, and thou shalt deliver them to the Levites according to the order of their ministry.

Suscipe ab illos ut servi in ministerio de tabernaculo, et trade illa ad Levitis juxta ordine de ministerio suo.

Itaque cum suscepisset Moyses plaustra et boves, tradidit eos Levitis.

Moses therefore receiving the wagons and the oxen, delivered them to the Levites.

Itaque cum Moyse suscipe plaustras et boves, trade illos ad Levitis.

Duo plaustra et quatuor boves dedit filiis Gerson, juxta id quod habebant necessarium.

Two wagons and four oxen he gave to the sons of Gerson, according to their necessity.

Duo plaustra et quatuore boves da ad filios de Gersone, juxta id quod habe necessaria.

Quatuor alia plaustra et octo boves dedit filiis Merari secundum officia et cultum suum, sub manu Ithamar filii Aaron sacerdotis.

The other four wagons, and eight oxen he gave to the sons of Merari, according to their offices and service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

Quatuore alio plaustras et octo bove da ad filios Meraro secundo officios et cultu suo, sub manu Ithamare de filio Aarone de sacerdote.

Filiis autem Caath non dedit plaustra et boves: quia in sanctuario serviunt, et onera propriis portant humeris.

But to the sons of Caath he gave no wagons or oxen: because they serve in the sanctuary and carry their burdens upon their own shoulders.

Ad filios autem Caath non da plaustras et boves: quia in sanctuario servi, et oneres propria porta ad humpras.

Igitur obtulerunt duces in dedicationem altaris, die qua unctum est, oblationem suam ante altare.

And the princes offered for the dedication of the altar on the day when it was anointed, their oblation before the altar.

Ergo duces offer in dedicatione de altari, die quo ungga es, oblatione suo ante altari.

Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: Singuli duces per singulos dies offerant munera in dedicationem altaris.

And the Lord said to Moses: Let each of the princes one day after another offer their gifts for the dedication of the altar.

Et Domino dic ad Moyse: singulo duces per singulo dies offer muneres in dedicatione de altari.

Primo die obtulit oblationem suam Nahasson filius Aminadab de tribu Juda:

The first day Nahasson the son of Aminadab of the tribe of Juda offered his offering:

And his offering was a silver dish weighing one hundred and thirty sicles, a silver bowl of seventy sicles according to the weight of the sanctuary, both full of flour tempered with oil for a sacrifice:

Et es in illa acetabulo argenteo de pondo cento triginta de siclos, phialas argenteo habente septuaginta siclos, juxta pondere de sanctuario, ambo plena simila consperge oleo in sacrificio:

And for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of a year old. This was the offering of Nahasson the son of Aminadab.

Hæc in dedicatione altaris oblata sunt a principibus Israël, in die qua consecratum est: acetabula argentea duodecim: phialæ argenteæ duodecim: mortariola aurea duodecim:

These were the offerings made by the princes of Israel in the dedication of the altar, in the day wherein it was consecrated. Twelve dishes of silver: twelve silver bowls: twelve little mortars of gold:

Each dish weighing a hundred and thirty sicles of silver, and each bowl seventy sicles: that is, putting all the vessels of silver together, two thousand four hundred sicles, by the weight of the sanctuary.

And for sacrifices of peace offerings, oxen twenty-four, rams sixty, buck goats sixty, lambs of a year old sixty. These things were offered in the dedication of the altar, when it was anointed.

Cumque ingrederetur Moyses tabernaculum fœderis, ut consuleret oraculum, audiebat vocem loquentis ad se de propitiatorio quod erat super arcam testimonii inter duos cherubim, unde et loquebatur ei.

And when Moses entered into the tabernacle of the covenant, to consult the oracle, he heard the voice of one speaking to him from the propitiatory, that is over the ark between the two cherubims, and from this place he spoke to him.
